Sweet Miss Anya!!

Happy Almost Hump Day Everyone!!! I decided to make a card for my friend who is going through a rough time right now. Her grandma is very sick and they are only giving her 4 weeks to live. So very sad, not only that, my friend is also trying to finish up her Master's Degree by the end of July. So she is overwhelmed right now and with a very heavy heart. I hope Miss Anya will put a little smile on her face. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. I hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Miss Anya this image was sent to me by Sweet Lisa!! Thanks Lisa so much!! (btw I ordered this set and it's on it's way) woohoo!! I colored her with copics and added just a little sparkle to her hair bow and some parts of her sweet outfit with a glitter gel pen.

Grilling Mojo Sketch!

Good Afternoon Everyone!!! I couldn't wait to play with this sketch today!! Woohoo it was a great one, something a little different...I love that!! I colored this cool image given to me from my niece Denise (papercuties on SCS) It is from Inky Antics...This guy is so super fun, I wish I would of bought this one when we were at the Convention together. I will just have to stamp some more cause they are great for guys. I really don't do masculine cards but lately they are just booming out of me...LOL!!!

A Late Father's Day


Good Evening Everyone, well...the same girlfriend that had me do a card for her dad wanted another card for her husband...She said I only got him a card from the kids and he was disappointed he didn't get a "jeep" card they saw me working on for my dad for Father's Day. So she asked me if I wouldn't mind whipping her up one!!! No problem, I love this image and had a great time doing it. I hope they like it!!! Thanks for stopping by!!

I used a stipple brush to ink the edges of the top note with Not Quite Navy Ink
I cut the navy flowers from the designer paper Maine Blueberry from SU
I layerd them on white paper flowers - which I used my stipple brush with Old Olive Ink for more color on the flowers
Used Basic Grey buttons and misc. string and placed on top of the flowers.

Masculine Oldie!


Good Evening Everyone, I decided to wait until tonight to stamp...I REALLY needed to get my house clean! My least favorite thing in the world but with 3 kids home and all my wonderful animals..I have to clean more than normal. So today was the day to get "scrubbin"!!! My card I did today is for a friend of mine, she needed a card for her dad...so I thought the LSC226, challenge at Splitcoast Stampers worked perfect. We were to pick planes, trains, or automobiles and they had color choices and choice of embellies. I chose the brown and green combo and twine and hardware for embellies. This card is "Way out of my element" but I really liked how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peak tonight!!

Misc. unmounted stamp from Inky Antics - I stamped in Momento Ink, stamped it twice cut it out to pop it up. I colored the image with copics, the wheels I did with gamsol and a black prisma pencil. The car accents I used gel pens.

Roses are Red!!


Almost Friday everyone!!! Wow this week just flew by. I actually got to make another card this evening, my kids swam all day so they are quite tired and went to bed early... so I got some time to myself to stamp. I would never leave my stamp room if I didn't have so many other responsibilites!! HAHA!! My neice gave me this cute image from Whipper Snapper, I just had to play around with it. Bold Brights Thursday Challenge!




Good Afternoon Everyone!!!! I didn't think I would get a chance to do another challenge, but I actually had a little bit of time. The weather is beginning to fade away with thunderstorms. It was such a beautiful day here in Ohio...a little hot but I take that over cold any day. My card I did is for the WT224 challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. It was to use brights in your card...Well the new in-color Melon Mambo I find very bright and cheery and I thought it looked awesome with brilliant blue. In-color Butterflies


Good Afternoon Everyone! Today I did a card for color challenge CC224 over at splitcoast stampers. Today's color combination was Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, and Summer Sun. OO I am really going to miss those two in-colors. I stocked up though so I can still get some use out of them..LOL!! Sneak Peak CAS Card!

Good Morning Everyone!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I wanted to share some exciting news first!! I applied for the Hanna Stamps DT Position, and I was one of the girls that was picked for their top 15...WOOHOO I am sooo excited. Now the pressure is on though, in the next month or so we have three projects to make and then they are picking their 6 slots available..OH MY so that means nine of us will not be on the design team....so I am starting to think now of what to create..I will be racking my brain for a while I am sure!! To be chosen out of everyone that applied is such an honor , there was so many awesome entries, I would not of wanted to be the one that had to pick. What a great group of women, they told us so soon. The deadline for entries was June 20th and they told us last night. That was so nice of them.



Now onto my card... I decided today to do the CAS challenge CAS20 on Splitcoast Stampers. Clean and Simple. I wanted to share with you a sneak peak of an awesome new set available for sale on Thursday June 25th at midnight at Treehouse Stamps . Isn't she such a cutie. Well for the challenge we were to paper piece. So I chose to paper piece her cute little bow and collar and of course the card had to be clean and simple.

Featured Stamper Challenge!!

A Dutch Father's Day!!


I was not very certain on today's challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. It was to make a card with an international flair. I was stumped on what to do..Then I thought about it and since Father's Day is Sunday I thought I would do a card from my stepson to his dad. My stepson (who lives with us) spent his first 8 years of life in the Netherlands. My stepdaughter lives there with her mom. My husband lived in The Netherlands and in Germany for over 10 years. So this challenge worked out perfect he got a card that says "Happy Father's Day" in Dutch. He will be so touched by it.. So this is for challenge LSC225. Good Morning Everyone!! It's Friday already wow how the weeks just go by. It is rainy and stormy here today so maybe I will actually get some stuff done in the house and some more cards made. Strawberry Birthday!!




Hello Everyone!! Wow I finally got a chance to stamp...Woohoo, with the kids being home for summer it is getting a little tricky to find time to stamp. I really wanted to do today's combo on splitcoast stampers I LOVE these colors. I have to admit I am soooo going to miss Baja Breeze.. Oh my I never use a whole spool of ribbon but this was my last piece of baja on this card!! Thank goodness my order will be here tomorrow, I had to order more!!! LOL Today's colors were Whisper White, Baja Breeze, and ruby red. Well I used this dp before and had plenty of scraps so I had to use this dp again. I just love the texture on this. Sunday Already!


Good Evening Everyone!! Wow, a busy weekend and didn't get too much time to stamp.. Last night I helped my friend Angie do her brother in-law's wedding invitations. We were making them for 6 hours straight. Can you believe we got 200 out of 300 done?? Woohoo!! for 6 hours that isn't bad at all. So I finally got a chance to stamp tonight. I am going to try to do one more card before it gets too late. I just have to watch Army Wives, I am hooked!! HAHA!! Well everyone getting to my card... I decided to do a Father's Day Card. My good friend Pat over at SCS sent me a wonderful "MAN KIT" I told her in previous conversations, I didn't have many manly things and tend to avoid masculine cards...so she sent me a whole bunch of wonderful images, hardware, ribbon, and some manly goodies. I just LOVED everything and it totally got me in a masculine mood. Hope you like this and thanks for visiting me today!!!

Happy Friday!!! Thank you Lisa!

Good Evening Everyone...!! I know it is a late post, but we had our year end soccer party this evening. The kids had a blast!! We went to a horse farm here close to us in Ohio. The kids all got to ride horses, go on a hayride and lots of yummy food. The kids got their trophies too, the smile on those kids faces was just sooo adorable. I got lots of pictures!! You just got to capture those moments. During the day today me and my friend Angie took our kids to pick strawberries. I never did this before and was surprised by how much fun it really was. The kids loved it!! I was also surprised by how reasonably priced it is when you pick your own. I brought them home, melted chocolate ,and had a feast..LOL!! OH my.. sooo good, nothing like fresh picked strawberries and chocolate.... So needless to say no time for stamping today..

An Early Happy Halloween


Good Morning Everyone!! I actually had a couple hours of free time this morning while my kids are at school recreation. They are going to see a play today, I have to go get them at noon so I don't have much time left...haha!!! So I thought I could get a challenge done! I did this card for sketch challenge SC232 on Splitcoast Stampers. What a great sketch this was. I know it is early for Halloween but I wanted to use this great new set I recieved from Treehouse Stamps. This image was so much fun to color. New Treehouse Stamps Arrived

Good Afternoon Everyone, my new Treehouse Stamps arrived in the mail yesterday and couldn't wait to play. Here is Riley!!

Good Evening Everyone, I hope everyone is having a happy Monday!! Well I noticed that Hanna Stamps is looking for 6 guest designers for a two month period. I thought I would give it a shot I just love Hanna Stamps. I decided to do a project with Riley!!! I was reorganizing my primas a couple weeks ago and decided to separate them all by color. Well...I just love the tins the primas come in and knew they would be perfect to cover and make a small gift. So that's how I thought up this idea with the birthday tin filled with kisses. Who doesn't love chocolate and kisses??? So once I got my tin done this evening I made a card to match.... So here is my project everyone!! Hope you guys like it!!! Here is the recipe for the tin -


I covered the tin in SU DP Maine Blueberry
I tied SU Bashful Blue ribbon around the tin

I cut and 3 1/2 circle with my silhouette to fit the top of the tin and stamped Happy Birthday on top with Momento Ink

I added primas and SU flower brads and popped the flowers up with pop dots

I used Riley from Hanna Stamps, colored with copics, popped up the cupcake and coffee cup, and cut him out and attached him to ribbon

I then filled with Hershey Kisses....Yummy

Day After Stamping!!

Good Morning Everyone!!! I couldn't wait to post the cards I made last night with my good friend Denise! She is my neice by marriage but I so consider her as a great friend. I could not wait to stamp in her new stamp studio. Wow it is so nice you got to go check out her blog and see pictures. http://www.papercuties.blogspot.com/ It was so nice to stamp away from home and a little break from so many interuptions with my children! Cupcake Friday!!!


Good Morning Everyone!!! Another busy Saturday and I thought I would get a quick card in this AM. I have another soccer game to coach today!!! A couple more weeks and we will be free of sports and can enjoy our summer a little more...I wanted to stamp last night but we had a softball game and didn't get home until too late. Fairwell In Colors!

Good Evening Everyone!!! Today's challenge on splitcoast stampers was to create an image, WT221. I finally got a challenge done!!! I decided to create my image by covering chipboard circles frames with designer paper, add butterflies, setiment ,and lots of pop dots. This was so much fun to create!! I couldn't just make one so I decided to do a card with each of the in colors. I am really going to miss these colors!!! The new ones look GREAT too!!! Can't wait until July 1st! Birthday Celebration!!


Good Afternoon Ladies, Finally got a chance to play today! I have been at the school the last couple days and one more day for the children and they will be out for summer! I decided to do color challenge CC221 today. I saw this cute little design in papercrafts magazine and had to give it a shot. This was really a fun card to make, the colors were a little tricky!!
