Pocket Card!

I did this card today for splitcoast stampers color challenge CC 217. I am not going to lie and say I enjoyed these colors cause really I didn't.. It was a very hard color combo today, I guess that is why they call it a challenge. After a lot of fuss and putting everything away this morning and starting over this afternoon this is what I came up with...ha ha!! I decided today to do a pocket card. Very simple and I just added paper in the pocket so you could see it holds stuff. You can put in a gift certificate, a packet of seeds for spring, or anything you like that will fit. It was very simple. You just cut the cardstock width to 4 1/4 then score at 5 1/2 and 1 1/2 , then fold and punch your border. Then you tie your ribbon around the card to hold the pocket into place. These are so fun to make. I did enjoy making this a lot once I could get the colors working! Thanks for stopping by my blog today!!
Here's the recipe

Best Yet Stamp Set
Garden Green Cardstock
Whisper White Cardstock
Cameo Coral Cardstock
Ballet Blue Cardstock
Ballet Blue Ink
Garden Green Ink
Cameo Coral Ink
Martha Stewart Border Punch

Have a wonderful Tuesday Everyone!

I haven't tried the color combo yet, but I have certianly struggled with many other color combo challenges and my philosophy is: always use a lot of white with a difficult color combo! It works everytime! LOL! Love your pocket card! Its so cute!
