An Altered Prima Box

Happy Fourth of July Everyone!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT holiday so far. Sorry I wasn't around yesterday, It was MY BIRTHDAY!! Woohoo..another year older...how exciting..LOL.. I had permission by the dh to go shopping and then I had to work the rest of the day so needless to say I wasn't stamping or on the computer yesterday. Well...this morning, I decided to make my girlfriend a Grad present. There is a party for her today and it said on the invite, just cards no presents. I figured there will be people that will give her stuff anyway. So....I thought a great gift to give would be a box of thank you cards. I have these awesome boxes from which my primas were in when I bought them. They fit cards in perfectly, so I also altered the box. I inked the box to match the kiwi color of the thank you cards, I added a band, ribbon, and a cute little setiment on the front. Hope you enjoy what I created today, and thanks for stopping by!! I hope everyone has a wonderful 4TH!!!

Here's the recipe -

Prima Box
I inked it with Kiwi Kiss Ink
I added a band- stapled it, tied chocolate ribbon around it.
I used Oval All Stamp set and used Kiwi Kiss Ink, punched the setiment out with SU oval punch. I punched a scallop SU oval out of Pink Pirouette Cardstock attached setiment with a white string

Card

Kiwi Kiss Cardstock
Pink Pirouette Cardstock
Chocolate Chip Cardstock
Kiwi Kiss Ribbon
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
I used Cut and Curly SU set, Stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink
I then used Trendy Trees SU Set, stamped tree in Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip Ink
To get the tree to fit inside you have to fool the stamp set, It was very tricky, but I finally figured it out after about 10 tries...LOL
Cut and Curly SU Punch
