Good Morning Everyone, Happy Monday!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Sorry I wasn't around too much yesterday, I spent the whole day with the family. It was really nice!
I wanted to share a project with you that my daughter had to make for school. I am SOOO proud of her and how easy she catches on to things when there is crafting involved. I really hope she picks it up and enjoys it as much as I do when she is older. Her project was to think of 6 similes. Then she had to dress them up to make something "Fall". I had this idea to diecut spider webs and make these cute little spiders from punches. She said "OOOO Mom that sounds cool"
She thought of her similes then.... I used my silhouette to diecut the spider webs for her. She typed up all the similes and I showed her how to punch them out and glue on eyeballs. I put one together then she caught on sooooo fast and then she had a BLAST making these spiders...Teehee, my son even made some, he has his own project hanging on his door...LOL!!! So once she got all the spiders done.....We started to glue them on the background. She liked them better in the web instead of just glued directly on the web. Then she typed out the title and made by her and I gave her cardstock to print it on. I cut the titles out for her, cause she doesn't like my cutter...Silly girl!!! I had a blast doing this with her, it was so much fun and she is soooo proud of what she made. She couldn't wait to take it to school today!
Thanks so much for stopping by today., I wanted to share this with everyone it makes me so happy that she is so happy......My husband has off today for Columbus Day, so I am not sure if I will be crafting or not. Have a great Monday everyone...
