Recycle and Reuse
Good Morning Everyone!!! Happy Friday!! Wow this week sure did fly by. I can't believe another week is over and we are just about to hit August.
I decided to do a little project for my daughter for going back to school. You know how girls just love little notes and stuff. If you have left over jewelry boxes from Khol's or somewhere like that, Khol's is where mine came from. They are perfect to recycle and reuse. I covered it and it fits 3x3 note cards perfectly. I made a set of 5 simple note cards to put in it for her. I just got this butterfly set from SU and the new butterfly punch and couldn't wait to use it. Also the butterfly I put in this sweet little girl's hair is from the set too. Hope you enjoy my little project.
Did you notice I have a new watermark?? Woohoo!! My good friend Angie Cortes made it for me and emailed it to me last night. If you get a chance go check out her beautiful BLOG you will see lots of creativity there for sure!
Thanks for stopping by. Have a GREAT FRIDAY!!

Home Decor - Daughter's Room Update!
Good Evening Everyone, I hope everyone enjoyed their Friday!!! As you know from a prior post I am redecorating my daughter's room while she is gone, I have to have her room totally done by tomorrow night. We leave early Sunday morning to pick her up...So today I shopped, I wanted to share with you these AWESOME rubons I purchased today at Michael's and Joanne's. I went to both stores looking for exactly what I needed. So once I got home I got to work!!! As you can see her room is now bright blue, it was purple and all her furniture was doll house themed. She is growing up so fast and wants more of a teenager style room. I will show you more pics as I get close to finishing up. Her room is themed soccer with some girly accents of polka dots.
Sorry if the pictures have a little glare, for some reason tonight the flash kept showing in my pictures!!!
If you have never tried or have thought about trying Vinyl decor I totally vouch for it. It is wonderful, and very easy to apply. They actually were a lot of fun to do too. I hope everyone had a GREAT day and thanks for stopping by.

A Star is Born!!
Good Evening Everyone. Not such a beautiful day here in Ohio. I have very exciting news...my daughter's room is completely painted, a beautiful bright blue (her favorite color) all the furniture is back...woohoo...now the fun stuff begins. Today we have been working on sanding and redoing her dresser. Wow what a difference it makes to sand and repaint something. She wanted it all white instead of the decorations of a doll house. She is growing up so fast.
So I finally sat down a made a card between my makeover. I decided to do the sketch challenge over at SCS. SC238, a great sketch it was today. I went a little crazy today, I just found out my step sister is having a girl more exciting news.... so It totally got me thinking baby girl today. I used my silhouette cutter, cut chipboard stars, glittered them nice and pretty, then inked it up with craft turquoise ink. My card today looks simple..but wow it took a little bit playing around with chipboard. It was soooo fun to make and I really like how it turned out. I have never cut this paper from SU either it is called Petals and Paisleys wow is it perfect for little girls. Lots of fun fun polka dots.
I also wanted to share an award that sweet Lisa gave me today...What a sweetheart she is to think of me. Painting!!!
Good Morning Everyone! I just wanted to share an awesome award I got today!!! Thank you soooo much Teri!! Please visit her wonderful blog she does amazing work. The rules of this award is to pass it along. Honestly I follow a lot of blogs and love so many it would take hours...hehe...so please feel free to take this award and share it on your blog... Please just comment to let me know if you grabbed it and then I can see and go visit you if I haven't already!!!
Also if I decide to craft today it will be this evening (maybe) my daughter is gone until Sunday and I am giving her room a make over while she is gone. She has been wanting a newly finished room for a while now cause she is 10 and wants her room to look more like a teenager.. So I am painting today, I already went through everything and her room is more organized now then ever before so the painting begins. Then once that is completed I am buying her a new rug, curtains, and bedspread. Once that is completed I am buying rubons and decorations for her room. She will be soooo surprised when she gets back home!!! I can see tears in the future...tears of joy of course. She has looked at my blog since she has been gone so hopefully she isn't scoping it today...lol!!! I hope everyone enjoys their Tuesday and I will be around later on!! Once her room is completed I will upload some pics...:) She is a soccer lover so that is the theme I am going with!!!! I hope everyone has a GREAT day!!

Inky Impression 2nd Design Team Call
Good Evening Everyone!!! I hope everyone has been enjoying their Saturday. I have had quite the lazy day. I do enjoy Saturdays. Well today my cute adorable little boy thought he would give mom a surprise and make me some coffee. So sweet of him...hehe...but however he is 6 let me remind you...well...he dropped the coffee pot and broke it. OH MY I can't live without my coffee pot.
So before all this happened I was on Splitcoast Stampers checking out the DT call positions available. I ran across Inky Impressions. Wow what a fabulous company with the most adorable stamps and an awesome design team. So I thought I would give it a shot, I would love to be a part of their team. I was thinking, I needed to find something pomegrante color some sort of candy or something. I went to the store to purchase another coffee pot, looked in the candy isle..OMG they had raspberry and almond flavored M&Ms....YUMMY. So I knew right then, that I needed to go ahead a make what I was creating in my mind. So my cute little son getting me to the store to purchase a new coffee pot also lead me to some pomegrante color M&Ms. Gotta love that!!! You are probably wondering why I need pomergrante...well the design team call wanted us to use purely pomegrante, kiwi kiss, blue bayou and chocolate chip. I did however subsitute blue bayou for baja breeze, hopefully they do not mind...if they do I will create another using the darker blue...Hope you like what I created and wish me the best of luck!!!

May this Rainbow Brighten Your DAY!!!
Good Aftenoon Everyone, or should I say Good Morning. OH my I am WAY behind schedule today, it was almost 11am when I woke up....!! I never do that but we had a very busy day yesterday and then I was up really late. So I finally got to play today....!!! I made this card for the Treehouse Stamp challenge THT005. We were supposed to use buttons and paper piercing. Also this is for sketch challenge SC236 at SCS.
Before I give you the deets on my card, I wanted to share with you some exciting news. My daughter had soccer tryouts a few weeks ago. Well...she moved up a whole age level. Only four girls out of all the U10 players got to move up to the highest level U12 team. She is soooo excited and I am sooo proud of her. She LOVES soccer!! I wanted to share this exciting news with all my blogging friends. CONGRATS KATELYN!!!
Now back to my card.... I used this fun stamp set from Treehouse Stamps called Little Sunshine. I just LOVE this rainbow!!! I stamped this stamp in Momento Ink colored with copics and used flocking for the clouds. I also inked the edges with real red ink.
I also used
